Every machine on this site is compared on the manufacturer’s own published figures: load capacity, tray size, cycle average, electrical requirement, dimensions and parts availability, each traced to the page it came from and dated.
What we do
- Read the manufacturer’s product page, specification sheet and owner’s manual, and record the date we read them.
- Publish the figures as the maker states them, in their own units, without rounding or converting silently.
- Where a maker does not publish a figure, write “Not stated” rather than estimating it.
- Re-check every price against the seller and stamp each one with the date it was verified.
- Say plainly when a claim comes from owner reports rather than the manufacturer.
What we do not do
We do not currently run our own laboratory testing, and we do not pretend to. Where you see a residual-moisture figure or a cycle time on this site, it comes from the manufacturer and is labelled as such. Publishing invented test data would be worse than publishing none.
We also do not score machines on criteria we cannot observe. Build quality and ease of use need hands-on time, so our scores cover what the published record supports: value, capacity, serviceability, and maintenance burden.
Commercial relationships
We hold affiliate relationships with the brands we cover and disclose them on every page. Manufacturers do not see reviews before publication and cannot pay for position. Commission never decides an order. When a machine changes — a revised pump, a discontinued trim, a price move — the ranking changes with it.
